Unknown Spider - Araneus - male

Unknown Spider - Araneus - Male
Nags Head, Dare County, North Carolina, USA
August 17, 2006
Found during an afternoon hike.

Moved
Moved from Araneus cingulatus. This is more likely A. nashoba due to red leg bands.

How's 368310
for "wide red bands". I can't tell if it has 4 pair of red spots or not.
and 424452 seems to only have four pair.

Yes I agree
368310 also seems likely Nashoba, though it is a tough call on the spots. The female nashoba, I'm not as sure on. However on 424452 I believe I see just a gimpse of a fifth spot at the very rear of the spider.

Reminds me of
Araneus cingulatus see here.
