This egg mass was on a leaf overhanging a wetland. I used a microscope to take a photo of the larvae inside the egg mass.

looks like one of the limnephilids. Are you going to try and rear them?

 
I let them go...
but I've seen these masses at this site in previous years, so maybe I can try next season!
