Dolomedes vittatus
I suspect this is Dolomedes vittatus based on the style and prominence of the dark marks on the carapace, as well as general appearance.

Thanks,
Kyron, I appreciate your input.

The eyes are wrong for a wolf spider
and she is carrying her egg sac wrong for a wolf. That is the way Nursery web and fishing spiders carry their eggs. It is difficult to be certain without seeing a picture of the entire dorsal area of the spider, but we would guess this to be in Dolomedes

Thanks,
I appreciate that explanation. I thought she had an egg sac but wasn't sure about that. Fishing spider makes much better sense than wolf because I find so many of those on this same building in our small park.
Perhaps some day I will learn to read spider eyes!

Ah!

Article here. Enjoy!

Wow!
Thanks a bunch!!! What a science lesson - that's what I like so much about Bug guide.

But I still get to ask for ID confirmations, right?
