Gerry Bunker reports
that in his studies of the Cicadas of Connecticut during the last two summers he has come to know this species well and this is definitely T. canicularis, so we will move it there.

taken on a fence, are NOT Tibicen pruinosa, they appear to be T. chloromera (which might be legitimately called the “green annual cicada�).
