Your efforts and insights are appreciated. Too bad the wasp larva didn't make it to pupation and emergence.
I found a stick with 4

mud pot nests recently:
I collected one of the pots hoping to rear the pupae therein and learn what species constructed the nest pot.
But from the look of your wasp larva here, and the pupae below:
I think I have parasitoid fly pupae rather than the wasp pupa. And I don't know if anything will emerge from those pupae, as I wasn't as insightful and resourceful as you in tending them (i.e. addressing light and humidity). But maybe I'll luck out, I presume pupae are a bit more resilient than more vulnerable larvae (which are unenclosed and feeding-dependent) .

Thank you
I wanted to get a wasp for my efforts, completing a life cycle, but if the photos of early stages serve a purpose at all, that's not nothing.
When I rear a creature, I try to approximate the environment it would have in the wild, minus predators.
