A green wasp like. - Agapostemon - male

A green wasp like. - Agapostemon - Male
British Columbia, Canada
This solitary wasp was moving quickly from one flower to another making it hard to get many pictures. Had one that looked like this last year but this is the first find for 06. Any ID info would be welcome. Thanks

Agapostemon texanus or, if not, femoratus (based on range)
not splendens (note clear wings)

Bee ID
Thanks for the ID info John.

i think your wasp is a halictid bee... perhaps something in the genus Agapostemon, although i can not say i know bees that well.

Bee ID
Looked at Agapostemon splendens, it could be that.

Thanks for the post, I think you know more about them than I do. Thanks again.
