Red Spider - Araneus diadematus

Red Spider - Araneus diadematus
Redmond, King County, Washington, USA
October 19, 2012
Size: nickle-quarter
Saw this on the Microsoft Campus. Lots of international visitors in the area I suppose it could have come off someone's luggage. It certainly feels alien to this ecosystem.

Moved to Araneus diadematus - Cross Orbweaver
Moved from ID Request. It's just a very dark Araneus diadematus. They are very common in this area.
