Angle-wing Katydid Eggs - Microcentrum

Size: 5 mm
Found these (eggs?) today while picking up sticks and twigs in the yard that had fallen from our Silver Maple during a recent windstorm. Any ideas as to what they might be? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, Ross! I'd love to raise them to adulthood - Do you happen to know if it would be OK to keep them in the fridge until the spring, or would it be better to leave them outside?

Katydid eggs…
Katydids in the genus Microcentrum typically lay eggs in two flat rows, one egg laid under the other on the edges of leaves and stems, but sometimes on twigs as you have discovered.
