Size: Length 22 mm.
Found crawling in dry creek bed.
Elevation 5,800 ft.
Oak-Pine woods.

Apocrisias thaumasta 8219?
The head capsule does not match Halysidota davisii. It matches the larval description of Apocrisias thaumasta by Franclemont 1966 on the last page here. He also has a photo here.
