Big orange caterpillar - Actias luna

Size: 4 inches?
This was found in my door frame, it has since spun a cacoon of roughly the same color. No change since that time.

This is most certainly Actias luna. Luna caterpillars that are preparing to pupate and overwinter generally turn this pinkish color. Interesting photo!
