no, i meant Cryptocephalus venustus F.
[the last one listed under that genus in(1)]
i'm unaware of B. venustus...
the critter on these pics might well be a Bassareus --i'm not sure if the lateral view shows the prosternal notch, it's too dark for me to make up my mind
