seed-shaped anobiid - Tricorynus palliatus

seed-shaped anobiid - Tricorynus palliatus
Organ Mountains foothills, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA
August 6, 2006
Size: about 2.5 mm
One of the intermediate-sized anobiids that untucked for a couple images. Came to my UV lights on the greasewood/mesquite/cactus incline below the jagged spires of the Organ Mountains.
