The subquadrate paratergites and notched ninth tergite will separate this from the other species of Neuroctenus known in our area(1)

In our area, known from "Carolina", CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, and TX(2) as well as AR (Taylor & McPherson 1989) and ON (Paeiro et al. 2003)
