Pretty sure its a Hacklemesh Weaver; unsure if it can be reliably put to a genus or species (comments on Amaurobiidae indicate such ID via photo probably isn't reliable)

Metaltella simoni?
I think this one might actually be Metaltella simoni based on range. I don't see any Amaurobiids listed for TX here:

Best to wait for expert confirmation though.

Reading other comments on this, I think you're totally correct. I wish I'd gotten a ventral shot before releasing now - seems like that's a good way to confirm.
