Pselaphinae - Reichenbachia spatulifer

Pselaphinae - Reichenbachia spatulifer
Mistissini, Nord-du-Québec County, Quebec, Canada
August 23, 2012
Size: 2-3 mm
Keys to Pselaphu*s using Arnett & Thomas. These guys were relatively common in this summer's pitfall traps set in spruce forests around here. Now, for the species, I lack the resources. It seems like, according to Bousquet 1991, only two species are recorded in the province, them being P. bellax and P. fustifer. I lack the resources to check the right characters, but superficially, from the pictures I've seen, it looks more like the latter than the former -- for what it's worth.
