Three images of right lacinia
I'm not sure how I managed to get three of the same images of the right lacinia drawing posted - and unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to remove the two extraneous ones.

There can be only one!
I was able to frass the two duplicate images.

Thanks for posting the additional photo and taking the time to make the drawing. I'll take a closer look to see if I can make a generic ID for you. I was kind of expecting the lacinia to have a single tooth. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

lots of teeth...
Brady,
Many thanks for taking time to look at this! I always enjoy an excuse to use the camera lucida and try my hand at "kerosone lantern technology!" Glad the sketch is useful, but wish it would have confirmed your hypothesis.

Don't knock the camera lucida ...
... or kerosene lantern technology. They gave rise descriptions that stand the test of time. Besides, a good drawing presents results from several planes of focus and often concise conclusions.

Well said.
Your defense of simple, appropriate technology is refreshing. Nicely put.
