Ma Cross - Araneus diadematus - Female
Alameda County, California, USA
October 24, 2012
Size: 15.0 mm bl
On October 24, this spider took up residence on the siding next to our back door without building a web. I thought she must be pregnant. Cross orb weavers abound here, and I'd never seen one so round before.
