Lacinipolia vicina
is more likely. Within the
L. vicina
species complex, only
L. vicina
and
L. sareta
are found east of the Mississippi and the latter is northerly with flight late June to early August. This image seems to match fig. 3.

We have an accord
Based on a
known reference
, all these characteristics apply:
AM & PM doubled. Both reniforn and orbicular spots are outlined with black. The orbicular spot has a black patch connecting to AM. Black basal dash inline with black anal dash. Whitish path on black at anal angle.
