not Vanduzea nymphs
Vanduzea nymphs do not have spines on the abdomen.
Too bad you cut off the head of the ant at the top of the picture, that is straddling the nymph. You might have been the first to actually photograph an ant "milking" a nymphal treehopper!
If you had a larger image that you cropped for posting on BugGuide, please check it to see if you have the rest of the ant.
