Moved-Polyphemus moth caterpillar
Moved from ID Request.

Antheraea polyphemus, this caterpillar was probably on the ground looking for a place to pupate, and likely came from the oak. I frassed your other image.

Found on the ground; I put it
Found on the ground; I put it on the cherry tree where I took the picture. The only other nearby tree was a pin oak
