Variegated Meadowhawk - Sympetrum corruptum

Variegated Meadowhawk - Sympetrum corruptum
Bradley Unit, Eufaula NWR, Stewart County, Georgia, USA
November 17, 2012
1st BG DataPoint for Georgia (Overall, this is approximately the 10th documented record for Georgia):

Specimen #1: Sat 17 Nov 2012, Photographed and observed at least 3 different
individuals of Variegated Meadowhawk, Sympetrum corruptum at the Bradley Unit,
Eufaula NWR, Stewart County, Georgia.

They were moving around a bit, trading places, so I am not sure of the exact
count. Sometimes an individual(s) would perch in the grass where they were
difficult to locate. So there may have been a few more than 3 individuals, (but
probably not very many more).
