2nd Northern Walkingstick of '06 - Diapheromera femorata Medina County, Ohio, USA August 22, 2006
i learned (thanks to this site) that the only walking sticks in my area are Northern Walkingsticks, so my question to you experts is; i'm guessing this is a N. Walkingstick, so can they change color or blend in with their surroundings? because this one was purple just like the twigs it was around, whereas the 1st one i found was rather greenish/grey.
if this is infact not a N. Walking stick, by all means tell me so i can put it in the guide in the proper place.
