Balcones Canyonlands NWR, Beard tract, Burnet County, Texas, USA
October 8, 2010
Adds a Burnet Co. image for BG; at porchlight in open juniper-oak savannah. C. tenuifascia usually far outnumbers unifascia in this area. Along with the FW pattern with a broadly-based (rear margin) median orange band which is often fused with the basal orange, I've found that a consistent and easily recognizable character separating unifascia from tenuifascia at a glance consists of the boldly banded orange-and-black legs.
