I thought this might be a tussock moth but I couldn't find a match. Any help appreciated!

It is a tussock moth
Just a browner form of the banded tussock moth (Halysidota tessellaris), although in Florida it may be the Florida tussock moth (Halysidota cinctipes). I can't remember if there's a visual difference between the two species.
