Stictomyia punctata - female

Stictomyia punctata - Female
Nogales, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
June 12, 2012
Size: 4 mm
Stictomyia punctata Coquillett, accd. to my determination. It was in a car that had recently crossed the border north, so may be from Nogales, AZ or Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, but to a fly it would make little difference.

Confirmation
Stictomyia punctata Coquillett, 1900, indeed; however, note that "punctulata" is a misspelling.

so it's settled now

oh, that's embarassing, sorry...
I just wanted to make it cuter, I guess. I'll fix it where I can...

Moved
Moved from Stictomyia.

So... do you want a guide page for this one?
.

Yes...
I can't create a new guide page so I rely on the editors to do that. Thanks!
