Black and orange beetle in pine forest area, elev 8300; appears similar to a Shiny Flea Beetle (Asphaera lustrans), but the eyes and possibly the shape of the elytra seem a bit different.

this looks similar to Syphrea Bernardia flea beetle, but shares many similarities with Shiny Flea Beetle (Asphaera lustrans), Aspjaera abdominalis, and Syphrea flavicollis. The antennae look most like the Bernardia; in all the thorax seems different and the abdomen less elongated.
