Another Southern Spreadwing? I saw a number of these from July through October--at least I think they were the same kind.

Note on your damsel how the edges of the light antehumeral stripe are somewhat irregular.
This is characteristic of
L. australis
L. alacer
is also possible in north-central TX.
Note how the edges of the antehumeral stripe are quite straight in
L. alacer
