American burying beetle - Nicrophorus americanus

This is the third and final instar for this species. Lou Perrotti, who heads the captive breeding project at Roger Williams Park Zoo, affectionately refers to this corpulent instar as "Michelin men." They are on a very well-tended quail carcass, by the way.
