Bombus sonorus female
I'm not aware of any previous records for Nevada, so it may be a new state record at least with respect to the literature!
I encourage you to further document its occurrence at this site if possible

Documented
J.C.Bradley collected one in Clark County in 1908, there have been a couple others. However, I don't know if wolfberry (Lycium andersonii) has been documented as a host species.

Documented, yes, but December? Are you sure this species is active in December in Nevada? Is that plant blooming then?

Date is correct
Not every year but I would bet there are some blooming right now. I seem to remember not even needing a jacket the day I took this photo.
