Jim,
After updating/adding
Myelopsis
guide pages, I think I have these figured out. The key distinguishing characteristic of
Myelopsis minutularia
is the reddish basal patch near the inner margin. This patch is not present on the other
Myelopsis
or on
Ephestiodes gilvescentella
. BTW you've added a
new species for Colorado on BugGuide
.

Ephestiodes gilvescentella
Take a look at this Phycitinae. I find the brown tone in the scales on ones out here. This is the The Dusky Raisin Moth and is common over much of the US. I just commented on Lisa Dolliver's specimen which looks like E. gilvescentella also.

Thanks for your help
That does seem like a good candidate. I found another picture that I took which shows the "lower wing" area better. There is more detail (banding) that is washed out by the flash in the attached picture. I'm not 100% sure of a match, but this is at the very least in the likely Hodges vicinity.

Or maybe even #5719
5719 – Myelopsis minutularia (MPG maps show that moth in this region), or even possibly #5718
