Pseudoscorpion - Chelifer cancroides

Pseudoscorpion - Chelifer cancroides
Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada
December 6, 2012
Size: ~2.5-2.7mm body length
Palp chela, sort of lateral view. We're looking down dorsally on it a bit to show the setae better. Note the venom apparatus on both the fixed and movable fingers. And I guess the lack of accessory teeth? Not sure whether they're supposed to be on the interior or exterior side.

For this shot, I had the microscope slide covering everything except his left palp and a bit of his face. Lighting is from underneath to bring out the setae.
