Thanks, Peter. During the fall, my sheet is so covered with loopers, mostly
Soybeans
, that I tend to ignore then. There may well have been some Goldens in the crowd. I happened to notice this one last night because it was the only moth out. There were some plumes and a pug, but photographing them is largely a waste of time :)

Yes, that's what I called mine. First time? I had them almost daily last half of August/early September. I thought my place is comparable to yours and not really "Florida."
