Due to the limited available imagery of this undescribed species, I'm taking the liberty to upload a photo of a specimen at the Univ. of Texas Insect Collection. UTIC has 25 specimens of this species, with collection dates ranging from 24 Sept (1992) to 11 Nov (1993). All but two were coll. in Travis County, the two exceptions being one specimen from Dolan Falls, Val Verde Co., and another from the Stengl Ranch (U.Texas), Bastrop Co. (One misplaced K. albifasciella, also collected in Bastrop Co., is housed with the series.) I've subsequently learned that Dr. Donald R. Davis (Smithsonian Institute) is working on a revision of the genus which will include a description of this new species.
