This adds a Texas datapoint for BG. From the Univ. of Texas Insect Collection, ph. by CS, 7 Dec 2012. Label data: "TX, Bastrop Co., Stengl Ranch (UT), 12-20 May 1994, J. Gillaspy, Coll." Unfortunately, this specimen is pinned over a 2nd label stating "Kearfottia new sp., Det. E. Knudson" and housed in a box of the latter taxon, which it clearly is not--likely a handling error at UTIC and not a determination error by EK. A second, essentially identical K. albifasciella, with the same collection date and location, is correctly labeled and housed in a box for "Kearfottia albifasciella Fernald 1904".
