Brown lacewing? - Chrysoperla
Franklin County, Missouri, USA

Size: 1/2 inch
I have read that the overwintering Chrysoperla sometimes turn brown. I spotted both green ones and brown ones on the same night after an unusally warm December day a week ago. Are the two the same species? They do appear identical other than their color. Thanks.
