A mating pair on Golden Aster At the time I took this photo, I wrote in my notes that they were possibly Megachilidae, Anthididiini. Any help with identification is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for identifying these dianthidium bees. They are the first I have photographed, although in California I have seen and photographed some beautiful pebbled dianthidium nests. Your help is so much appreciated.
