The specimens from this locality with DNA sequences that show Dysstroma walkerata and D. sobria match both species and each other. Therefore, the older named Dysstroma walkerata – Orange-Spotted Carpet Moth – (Pearsall, 1909) will be used for those specimens from this site with comparable DNA sequences. Note large size.
