Black and gold dragonfly - Stylurus olivaceus - male

Black and gold dragonfly - Stylurus olivaceus - Male
Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA
August 26, 2006
Size: 2.25 inches
This dragonfly was sitting on the steps by my back door about 8 am August 25, 2006. It let me get quite close and even touch it without moving.

Is it a clubtail of some sort?
