My guess is:
Xanthochroa sp., compare similar Xanthochroa testacea.
Reasons: darkened margins of pronotum, general habitus of genus - northern locality may allow for decision which Xanthochroa it is.

False blister beetle?
I think this is an oedemerid beetle. It's certainly a beetle.

Thank you both. Following your ID's, I looked for images in google and came up with this name that looked like mine. Oxycopis suturalis, a false blister beetle. What do you both think?
