Nice photos again, Patrick -- can you check the other Syrphid flies in the guide and see if any others should be moved to this genus?

 
I don't see any...
I don't see anything under just "syrphids" that looks like Helophilus, but I am so not an expert on syrphids. There are so darn many genera, and the markings are so similar!

Thanks for compliment on photos. I did like this one too. That aster makes a pretty background, that helps.
