Zack Falin says:
"I'd call this M. pectinata (female). It is a fairly typical color pattern, though is reminiscent of M. octomaculata. I'm basing my determination on vertex shape (bluntly rounded side to side and front to back in M. pectinata vs. more linear side to side and more sharply beveled, or chisel-shaped front to back in M. octomaculata (often with a median bump or projection posterior to the vertex); overall punctation and pubescence (less noticeable in M. pectinata while often quite obvious in M. octomaculata); and a more slim body shape (one can barely see the meso- and metapleura in dorsal view in M. pectinata whereas M. octomaculata looks "fatter", or more robust, in that often the sides of the meso- and metathorax are obviously visible underneath the pronotum in dorsal view)."

Moved from Macrosiagon octomaculatum.

Moved tentatively; will ask Dr Falin to check it out
