Twirler Moth
I recently identified a small moth with upturned palpi, same general wing shape and some analogous patterns as your moth as Battaristis sp. (here) in the Gelechiidae. Your moth may be in that or a related genus, the same tribe (Anacampsini) or the same subfamily (Gelechiinae). I know that doesn't narrow it down much! Great pictures, by the way.

Thanks! I was scanning through some moth photos yesterday when one looked familiar so I found one of the older photos which hadn't been IDed yet. I think this moth which I just now posted looks like the Battaristis sp. mentioned above.

On second thought...
After browsing through a lot of micros on MPG, I've circled back to your original suggestion of Perimede ricina! Your moth has a distinctive pointed wing shape created by the fringe scales, and all the other spots match well with examples on MPG here. Disregard my original suggestion of Battaristis sp.; the general shape and spotting fooled me. Sorry to lead you down that wrong path.

Happy that you agreed:)
