On a woodland sedge (Carex cf. laxiflora). Possibly related to this one?


Possibly. The lower image is
Possibly. The lower image is of a male pupa. The main image is possibly an earlier stage. Definitely Coccidae.

But all Charley Eiseman can do with this is "some kind of scale"... although it's probably Coccidae.
