Microclytus compressicollis (Laporte & Gory)
Yes, Microclytus compressicollis (Laporte & Gory) is correct. Cyrtophorus verrucosus (Olivier) has an arching pronotum and pronounced "knobs" at the base of the elytra as in the linked photograph.

compressicollis is more likely indeed
both spp. look alike and the other one may occur in your area; i asked Dr Yanega to look at the pics, but you better show the beetle to Dr Majka to make sure

 
ID confirmed by Doug Yanega: "Definitely M. compressicollis.
"The legs and antennae are relatively hairless, and F2 is very stubby compared to gazellula."
