Telmatophilus typhae (Fallén)
At 1.8 mm in length this is certainly
Telmatophilus typhae
(Fallén).
Telmatophilus americanus
LeConte is 2.5-3.0 mm in length, and the elytra is appreciably longer in proportion to the pronotum. A nice find of this adventive species, the first record from northern New Brunswick.
