Phyxelis rigidus (Say) Tribe Tropiphorini, Entiminae. Note well-developed postocular lobes.Trachyphloeosoma is less than half its size,and still is a Trachphloeini .

hmm... Trachyphloeosoma? will show around
it's definitely in this tribe but clearly none of the three
Trachyphloeus
spp. recorded in N.America -- and none of those Palaearctic spp. i'm familiar with
