Swamp Cicada
When teneral (=newly emerged and soft), the coloration is often very similar to many other members within this group. Given the similarities in coloration, the tenerals of Swamp cicadas along with some of the southern forms are often confused with members of the pruinosus group (pruinosus/winnemanna).
