Larvae reared from club moss (Lycopodium). (3), (1)

Remarks

It would appear that dissection is needed to separate this species from similar species. S. lycopodiana, tristriata, sulfureana, bistriata and robinsonana are all in the same BIN, BOLD:AAB7787, and the phenotypes do not consistently fall neatly into their own branches so it does not appear to that DNA barcode is useful. The lycopodiana phenotype clumps into two separate branches in the tree which are separated by branches containing tristriata and sulfureana. - Steve Nanz (2/3/2019).
