Range
Known from Texas and New Mexico. (1)
Holotype male: Texas, 5 miles north of Monahans, Ward Co., 4 July 1979 (reared by J.K. Wangberg). (1)
Food
Larvae feed in silken shelters on broom snakeweed (Gutierrezia sarothrae) and thredleaf snakeweed (Gutierrezia microcephala). (2), (1)
