Adult female - Eratigena agrestis - Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada January 4, 2013 Size: ~13mm body length
This spider has been living under an empty paint can just in front of the house for at least a month. So far she's managed to weather two snowfalls and many days with temperatures below freezing without a problem. She often gets visitors around her little funnel-less web, including woodlice, harvestmen, and other spiders (mostly Cicurina pusilla). A few slugs have gone by too as evidenced by slime trails.
